GPhC Exam Internet Links
There are a wide range of websites which can help you on your journey into successfully preparing for the GPhC Exam. When revising for any exam it is important to use as many quality resources as possible. In this day and age online resources are excellent as the are usually more up to date than old dusty books. The following are some of our favorites...
- PSNC - this is the body which is responsible for negotiating with the NHS reimbursement for services provided from pharmacies. It is useful as you will need to know about recent updates concerning the different services community pharmacies offer.
- NPA - this is one of the largest community pharmacy associations in the country. Their website is primarily targeted at pharmacists looking for representation in the political arena, however they do offer some guidance for pre-regs.
- PCPA - a pre-reg training website, which offers free questions and advice along with paid subscriber courses which guarantees that you will pass the exam first time.
- Pharmacy Forum - excellent site for communicating with other pharmacists and pre-regs. The site is run by a very knowledgeable group of pharmacists who can help you with any questions you may have.
- Pre-reg Place - an under rated website which you can go to and find pharmacies which are looking for pre-regs. It is run by a helpful team and seems to be regularly updated.
As ever, with resources such as these do not get into the habit of browsing through them for hours and hours to avoid REAL revision! You may be interested that we have and online course at Pharmacycpa.com, the deluxe package which allows you to take 200 questions under exam conditions which is then marked by a GPhC qualified pre-reg instructor, who will then give you feedback about where your weaknesses lie.
